Rules for ILS Junior Summer Camp
The following rules are a binding part of the camp regulations and the General Terms and Conditions (GTC). In the event of non-compliance with these rules, ILS reserves the right to exclude participants from the camp and send them home at their own expense.
Consequences for rule violations
The behaviors listed below will usually result in a warning. A repeat offense or, depending on the severity, even a first offense may result in expulsion from the summer camp.
Prohibited conduct
Violence or aggressive behavior
Physical or verbal abuse towards other participants or supervisors is strictly prohibited.
Bullying or discrimination
Insults, exclusion, racism, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.
Alcohol, drugs, and smoking
The possession or consumption of alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes is prohibited.
Leaving the campground without permission
Participants are not permitted to leave the premises without the consent of the supervisors.
destruction of property
Damage to school property or other people's personal belongings, as well as to property belonging to the accommodation, is prohibited.
In the event of deliberate damage of any kind, the costs incurred will be charged to the parents.
Disruption of classes
Deliberately disrupting language lessons or refusing to participate is not permitted.
Use of cell phones during class
Smartphones or electronic devices are usually prohibited during class hours.
Using a cell phone to film another person and post it online
Other people, adults, Kids and Teens not be filmed and posted on social media or on cell phones and platforms without parental consent.
Disturbing the peace at night
After the designated quiet hours, it must be quiet. Noise or running around at night is not permitted.
Possession of dangerous items
Knives, fireworks, or other dangerous items are prohibited.
Disrespectful behavior toward culture and rules
Disregard for cultural differences or camp rules is not permitted.
This includes, in particular, racist, homophobic, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory, offensive, or exclusionary statements and actions toward individuals or groups. Derogatory remarks, provocative behavior, or deliberate violations of camp rules are also prohibited.
