CILS Bambini for Kids and Teens

Welcome to our CILS Bambini Italian exam for children. Designed for elementary school-aged children (approximately 8–11 years old), this exam offers an age-appropriate way to officially demonstrate their basic knowledge of Italian and earn an internationally recognized certificate. If you want to support and document your child’s language development early on, the CILS Bambini exam is the right choice.
The CILS Bambini exams were developed specifically for young learners and are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The levels range from A1 to A2 and are designed to be playful, child-friendly, and motivating. The focus is on simple everyday situations, familiar topics from children’s daily lives, and basic communication skills in the foreign language.
The certificates are issued by the CILS Center at the Università per Stranieri di Siena and are internationally recognized. They serve as official proof of early proficiency in Italian and can provide a valuable foundation for further language study.
For older learners in their teens (approx. 12–16 years old), there is also the CILS Adolescentiversion, which offers a more in-depth and academically oriented language exam.

Registrations are only accepted until the registration deadline; unfortunately, registrations received after this date cannot be accepted.Exam feesmust be paid in full bythe day of the examat the latest; otherwise, you willnot be allowed to take the exam.
