Language Summer Camp 2026 Terms and Conditions (T&C)

1. Scope
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, registrations, services, and activities of the ILS Language Summer Camp.
1.2 By Registration , the legal representatives of the participating individual Registration these Terms and Conditions as part of the contract.
2. Registration
2.1 Registration binding and must be completed using the online registration form.
2.2 By signing or agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are bindingly registering your child for the camp.
2.3 All information requested on the registration form (including allergies, medical conditions, photo permission, etc.) must be provided truthfully and in full.
3. Conduct and Minimum Number of Participants
3.1 The minimum number of participants is 18 in total and at least 6 per language/level. For 2026, the summer camp may take place with fewer participants.
3.2 If a language group or the camp as a whole does not reach this minimum number of participants, the organizer may cancel, merge, or reschedule the camp or individual language groups.
3.3 If the minimum number of participants required to hold the camp is not reached, the organizer may cancel the camp no later than 9 days before the camp begins. In this case, any camp fees already paid will be refunded in full.
4. Services and Service Delivery
4.1 The camp fee includes:
- Classes and Teaching Materials
- Supervision and activities as per the program
- Accommodation and full board
- Organization and Supervisory Staff
4.2 We reserve the right to make changes to the program schedule or staff assignments, provided such changes do not significantly affect the overall nature of the camp.
5. Program and Schedule
5.1 The daily activities are based on the framework plan. Parents or guardians will receive an information sheet via email well in advance, outlining the general schedule.
5.2 The organizer reserves the right to adjust times and activities for organizational reasons.
6. Terms of Payment
6.1 The full amount must be paid before the first day of camp.
6.2 Payments that are not received on time may Registration in the cancellation of the Registration .
7. Withdrawal and Cancellation
7.1 Registration canceled in writing via email.
7.2 Cancellation Deadlines and Fees:
- Up to 60 days before the start of camp: CHF 100 processing fee
- 59–30 days before the start of camp: 50% of the camp fee
- Less than 30 days before the start of camp: 100% of the camp fee
7.3 Refunds will be issued only after the program has ended or upon receipt of a written request.
7.4 If the camp cannot be held, or can only be held in part, due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, the organizer shall not be liable for any resulting damages or losses. Cases of force majeure include, in particular, natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, pandemics, government orders, strikes, security risks, or other unforeseeable events.
The organizer reserves the right to postpone, modify, end early, or cancel the camp due to force majeure.
If the camp must be canceled before it begins due to force majeure, any camp fees already paid will be refunded in full.
If the camp must be terminated early after it has begun due to force majeure, the organizer may grant a pro-rata refund for the services not provided. The amount of the refund will be determined based on the services already provided and the costs incurred.
Any further claims for damages or compensation are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
8. Absences and Tardiness
8.1 Attendance at classes and thematic activities is mandatory.
8.2 The camp team must be notified of any late arrivals or absences as soon as possible.
8.3 There is no entitlement to a price reduction or refund due to missed program events.
8.4 Legal guardians are required to provide, at the time of Registration and accurate information regarding the child’s health Registration relevant to the care provided. This includes, in particular, existing medical conditions, allergies, intolerances, medications taken on a regular basis, and any other health-related limitations.
8.5 Any changes in health status or medication that Registration after Registration must be reported to the organizer immediately.
8.6 In the event of a medical emergency or illness during the camp, the camp team is authorized to take the necessary medical measures and, if necessary, to arrange for medical assistance, emergency services, or hospitalization. Legal guardians will be notified immediately whenever possible.
9. Terms and Conditions and Rules of Conduct
9.1 Participants agree to treat other participants, supervisors, and camp staff with respect.
9.2 The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco
- Endangering others
- Theft
- Bullying or discrimination
- Leaving the campground without permission
9.3 In the event of serious or repeated violations of the camp rules, a participant may be expelled from the camp. In such cases, camp fees already paid will not be refunded.
9.4 Parents or guardians will receive the camp rules via email. By Registration , parents Registration to abide by the rules.
10. Photography and Videography
10.1 Photos and videos may be taken during the camp.
10.2 By signing the consent form, the parents or guardians agree that photographs and videos of the participating children may be taken during the camp and used for the organizer’s communication and promotional purposes (in particular on the website, social media, and in newsletters).
11. Liability
11.1 The Organizer’s liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability for intentional or grossly negligent conduct remains reserved.
11.2 The organizer assumes no responsibility for personal belongings, theft, or loss.
11.3 Legal guardians are liable, within the limits of the law, for any damage caused by their child—whether intentionally or through negligence—to the organizer’s facilities, materials, or other property, as well as to the property of other participants or third parties. The costs of repairing or replacing the damaged property shall be borne by the legal guardians.
12. Insurance
12.1 It is the responsibility of the legal guardians to ensure that the participating children have adequate health, accident, and liability insurance. The organizer assumes no liability for damages resulting from a lack of or insufficient insurance coverage.
By Registration, the parents or guardians confirm that the child has adequate health and accident insurance coverage.
13. Privacy Policy
13.1 Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of organizing, conducting, and following up on the camp. Data will be disclosed to third parties only to the extent necessary for the organization and conduct of the camp or where there is a legal obligation to do so. In all other respects, the provisions of the Privacy Policy apply.
14. Final Provisions and Jurisdiction
14.1 The statutory places of jurisdiction under Swiss law shall apply.
